Welcome to "Palm Sunday," an inspiring Sunday Sermon video based on Matthew 21:7-9, Matthew 20:17-19, Exodus 12:12-13, Zechariah 9:9, and Mark 15:12-14. In this video, we celebrate the incredible significance of Palm Sunday and the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.

Matthew 21:7-9 recounts the scene where Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, and the people praised Him, shouting "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!" This fulfilled the prophecy in Zechariah 9:9, which says, "See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey."

In "Palm Sunday", we explore the significance of Jesus' triumphal entry and the events leading up to the crucifixion. Matthew 20:17-19 foreshadows Jesus' coming suffering, death, and resurrection, and Exodus 12:12-13 points to the Passover lamb as a symbol of Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross.

Mark 15:12-14 tells the story of Jesus' trial before Pilate, where the crowd shouted for His crucifixion, showing how quickly the people's attitude toward Him changed. However, we celebrate the fact that Jesus willingly submitted to His Father's will and paid the ultimate price for our redemption.
